AMO's 2023 AGM Highlights Important Land Development Issues
The Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) held its 2023 AGM & Conference in London, Ontario. The conference included speeches from provincial leaders, a Ministers' Forum, and a Women's Leadership Panel. The conference also had sessions on municipal issues, and resolutions were passed on various topics. Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced the Building Homes Faster Fund and the extension of Strong Mayor Powers to more municipalities. Municipal officials had the opportunity to meet with ministers to discuss community-specific issues.
